Main Target:
The main objectives of WP2 are the following:
- Definition of vehicle specifications based on vehicle simulation
- Breakdown of vehicle specifications to requirements for all Key Technologies, subsystem and components
- Definition of vehicle packaging concept
- Overall vehicle safety concept
TRL:
Beginning of project: TRL 1 (basic principles observed)
Expected TRL end of project: TRL 2 (formulation of technology concept)

- 2.2: Preliminary Packaging Study
- 2.3: Breakdown of Vehicle Specifications to Key Technologies
- 2.4: Preliminary Vehicle Safety Concept
Methods:
- Vehicle simulation with AVL CRUISE
- PEM System simulation with CRUISE M Flow
- 3D Packaging studies with CATIA or ProE
- Techno-economic analyses and modelling for powertrain costs
- Hazard and risk assessment (HARA)
